Love in Disgrace

When you stand and share your story in an empowering way, your story will heal you and your story will heal somebody else.
-Iyanla Vanzant

Welcome to my website! I write about experiences I've had and known as a Queer, Feminist, Sex-Positive Being.  I'm here to talk about all the things I was told I wasn't allowed talk about.

Growing up Irish Catholic, I'm pretty familiar with shame.  Despite my name being Grace, Grace is a way of being I unlearned due to sexual trauma, addiction, safety behaviours and armouring myself to fit into the world even if it meant not being myself.  Disgrace means "a loss of reputation or respect as the result of a dishonourable action."  I believe this (shame) is the main factor that stops us most from being ourselves, sharing our gifts and sharing our vulnerability.

Essentially I've made a whole website out of saying "Hey, this happened to me and this is how I feel about it, anyone else?!"

The Menu tab will bring you to different aspects of how I am trying to carry that message through weaving my different forms of creativity and curiousity.
